Darryl Triou
Experience in the Building Trades
Darryl's building experience began in high school. He helped his father build homes after school and on weekends. While working with his father, Darryl learned all the trades: electrical, plumbing, carpentry and cabinet making. They even did their own masonry work. Following high school, Darryl worked as a union plumber and owned his own plumbing and electrical business.
When illness forced his father to take a medical retirement in 1970, Darryl took over the family business and built it into what it is today.
Your Building Experience in the Hands of Real People
We believe that building a new home should be a rewarding experience. We believe that home buyers are looking for a quality investment, rather than just a low price. That's why every Triou home is built to Energy Star standards with 2x6 studs, the best windows, and incorporate such design features as wood trim, glass French doors, pocket doors that separate rooms, stained woodwork, solid doors and oak cabinetry.
To assure quality construction, Triou's Custom Homes employs a full time supervisor to assist Darryl in supervising construction. Subcontractors are companies Triou has known and worked with for several years. When selecting craft people, Darryl prefers smaller companies that are based locally.
Darryl's personal and business philosophies are inseparable. He believes that his quality and experience speak for themselves, and is willing to put his reputation on the line every day as a member of the Better Business Bureau, as well as the Rochester Home builders Association. In addition, Darryl builds every home as though he was building it for himself.
Darryl Triou and his staff provide customers with an unmatched confidence as well as a quality home. That combination is the company's key to success.
The Triou difference
Quality. The “q” word. It's way overused in our industry. But there's no better word to describe what we do. In fact, around here, you'll find our carpenters and foremen just as concerned about the things you can't see as they are about the things you can. Don't get us wrong, we're proud of our finish carpentry and the attention to detail we give every visible feature. But we're just as proud of those things that may spend a century covered by drywall or subfloor. That's the true mark of quality. That's the Triou difference. |
